Service isn't new to Jerry. Currently, Jerry serves the State of Alabama at the Bureau of Pardons and Paroles and has for the past 24 years. Additionally, Jerry serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Alabama Army National Guard where his service over the last 27 years has earned him a purple heart for his deployment overseas.

 

Jerry is the current President of the City Council in Prattville where he's in his third term. He's married to Dawn Starnes and has three kids: Ana is 23 years old and a nurse at Children’s Hospital, Jack is 22 years old and a student at UAB, and Jett is 21 years old and a student at Troy University.
